|
Health Awareness Services uses “Plan
B” for emergency contraception; this can reduce your chance of getting
pregnant by 89%. If you are 18 years or older you can get emergency contraception without a prescription at the drug store. You should call ahead to make sure they carry emergency contraception and bring a photo ID, listing your birth date, with you. If you are under 18 years old you need to have a prescription from a medical provider to get emergency contraception at a drug store. Health Awareness Services offers emergency contraception, as well as a full range of other family planning services, at all of our clinic locations.
