“ Thanks to case management we were able to find
the help we needed.”

We offer services to People Living with HIV/AIDS and People Affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our goal is to support families and individuals by integrating primary health care, health education, and counseling through advocacy, case management, outreach, and referral. We strive for community involvement in achieving this goal.

HIV Client Services work collaboratively with the MetroWest Medical Center, UMass Memorial Health Care, the Boston Public Health Commission and the HIV/AIDS Bureau of the MA Department of Public Health.  To increase community awareness and optimize the delivery of care, we maintain and encourage inter-agency networking and attend regional meetings. By utilizing local and regional resources, it is our goal to increase the range of services for individuals with or affected by HIV/AIDS and provide a continuum of care.

Ryan White 1971-1990

Ryan White was diagnosed as a child with AIDS in 1984. He became a pioneer activist. He struggled to continue attending school and get needed services to improve his health.

Ryan and his family worked very hard to fight the ignorance and fear surrounding HIV and AIDS.  Just a few months after Ryan’s death the Ryan White CARE Act was passed by Congress and continues still today. It is used to improve the quality and availability of care for people with HIV and AIDS and their affected families.
