Pregnancy Testing and Counseling

Health Awareness Services offers urine pregnancy testing. It must be 12 days since your last unprotected sex for a pregnancy test to be accurate. If indicated, we can provide blood pregnancy testing as well.

Pregnancy testing is done on site and if urine pregnancy testing is done, the results are given the same day.

  • If a pregnancy test is negative and you are not seeking pregnancy, birth control options are reviewed, discussed and offered.

  • If a pregnancy test is positive and you are uncertain about what you want to do, we will provide you with information about all options available to you. Health Awareness does not provide.
pre-natal care or abortion services (referrals are made). Information and referral related to pre-natal care, adoption and abortion services are provided.

  • If you are seeking pregnancy and experience problems getting pregnant, we will make a referral to an OB/GYN for you.

  • If you have had unprotected sex within 5 days (120 hours) and wish to prevent a pregnancy emergency contraception is an option you may want to consider.
